Welcome to AURA AI (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure experience
as you use our AI-powered personal makeover coach.
1. Information We Collect
To provide our services, we collect only the information necessary for the app's functionality:
- Photos: When you upload portrait photos for analysis, they are stored securely in our
cloud storage and processed by our AI to provide grooming and hair insights. If you choose to delete a
photo or your account, all associated image data is permanently and totally deleted from our servers.
- Device Identifiers: A unique ID from your device (e.g., Identifier for Vendor) used
strictly for token management and fraud prevention (preventing multiple claims of free tokens).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Manage premium token balances and prevent fraud.
- Provide personalized AI analysis and grooming recommendations.
- Analyze app performance and improve user experience.
3. AI Processing, Accuracy & Data Usage
AURA AI uses advanced artificial intelligence to provide personalized grooming insights. To ensure your
privacy and security:
- AI Partners: Your photos are processed securely by our AI partner (OpenAI) solely for
the purpose of analysis and image generation.
- AI Can Make Mistakes: AI is a developing technology. Results may vary and should be used for informational purposes only.
- No Model Training: We have a strict "No Training" policy. Your photos and personal data
are NOT used to train, improve, or fine-tune any AI models.
- User Generated Content (UGC): As an AI-powered app, results are generated dynamically.
We strive for high-quality output, but if you encounter any inappropriate or offensive results, please
report them to us immediately.
3.1 Face Data Disclosure (Apple Compliance)
In accordance with Apple's privacy guidelines, we explicitly disclose the following regarding facial data:
- Data Collection: We collect and process the portrait photos you upload to identify facial features such as face shape, hair texture, and skin tone.
- No Biometric Identification: We do NOT use this data for biometric identification or to identify a unique individual.
- No Marketing/Advertising: We do NOT share, sell, or provide your facial data or photos to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms.
- Zero Retention: Facial analysis data is temporary. Photos and analysis results are permanently deleted from our cloud servers upon your request (by deleting a "Look") or upon account deletion.
3.2 Usage Data & Analytics
We collect anonymous usage data to improve your experience:
- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to track app performance and feature engagement. This data is anonymized and does not include your photos or facial data.
4. Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- Cloud Storage: Photos are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage (Firebase Storage)
and are deleted completely and permanently from our systems upon user request or account deletion.
- Database: Your basic profile and style history are stored in a secure cloud database
(Cloud Firestore) and local storage. These records are wiped totally when you delete your account.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information only as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account or
specific data (like photos), it is permanently and totally deleted from our databases and cloud storage
within 24 hours. You can request immediate deletion at any time within the app's Profile settings.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can
manage most of this directly within the AURA AI profile settings. Our account deletion process is automated
and removes all associated cloud and local data immediately.
